I live my life a quarter-mile at a time. Nothing else matters……not the mortgage, not the store, not my team and all that bullshit. For those ten seconds or less, I'm free.
I like it. I just like it. A pure feminist film that all females turn out to be valuable and adorable, and so great that Paulette gets a daughter rather than son, and Warner loses literally everything. Terrific. I like the idea that we applause female power without denying the current female natures, such as woeing for men and celebrating physical beauty. Those who enjoy Forrest Gump should enjoy this female version too. PS The domestic female works usually focus on women's trouble rather than women's power, which is a HUGE problem.
